instant classic



i'm mourning the loss of the wonderful sandals i was wearing on this sunny day on the amalfi coast. i bought them in barcelona and the soles were made of recycled tire tread. they lasted for ages and i had yet to come close to finding a replacement until i came across the line ancient greek sandals. these are the kind of shoes someone stops you on the street asking where you got them and you say, 'oh, on a small greek island far, far away.' i wonder if they ship to the US so i don't have to make the trip...

  1. How beautiful! I bought a pair of leather shoes on a visit to Pakistan and they have lasted forever!! I love when people ask where I got them :)

  2. totally weird. but before i started even reading this blog entry, i saw your pic and i said to myself "i love her shoes!" and then i started reading... and then felt very sad for you. although those greek sandals will make a great replacement!
