the littlest nursery

we moved in annnnd pretty much time stood still when it came to decorating the girls' rooms. maybe i was in denial that i would actually ever move francesca out of our bed (more about that later...) but here i am. slowly but surely putting together a room that will be a sweet, calm spot for her. i've started a pinterest board for it and have a few select pieces that i'm building the room around. can't wait to see how it turns out. i'm still looking for a great wallpaper. suggestions welcome!

  1. A friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend brought me to you lovely blog a few weeks ago, and I enjoy reading it! Would love for you to check out the New Pop & Lolli Wallpaper range - I found it via another friend and LOVE it, I know you would too! (SUPER easy, eco-friendly and removable too!) www.popandlolli.com

  2. Love your style and your Pinterest board. We're so on the same page ;) In Sweden, there's a popular Danish brand that we love called Ferm Living (just google Ferm Living wallpaper and lots will come up...there are more options on sites other than their own too). There's a little store in our Swedish hometown called Lilla Enja and they sell some wallpaper on their site too...but I'm not 100% sure if they ship internationally. Also, another Swedish designer I think you might like is Ingela P Arrhenius (not sure she does wallpapers, but her posters are some of my favorites - and we have her melamine plates too). Just some tips off the top of my head. Thinking of you and praying for peace and comfort in your family. xo

  3. i recommend stenciling! if you're into DIY, stenciling is fun, easy and cost effective! you can even have your older daughter help out - it's that easy to do. etsy has a ton of great stencil companies - i used this sail boat stencil for my baby boy's room (http://www.etsy.com/listing/100272051/anchors-away-reusable-wall-stencils-for?ref=sr_gallery_18&ga_search_query=anchor+stencil&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=US&ga_search_type=all) and used this stencil paint - it doesn't drip and comes in great metallic colors and it's water based so dries quick (http://www.etsy.com/listing/129106423/the-perfect-stencil-paint-royal-stencil?ref=sr_gallery_5&ga_search_query=stencil+paint&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=US&ga_search_type=all). i used the gold toned paint to give the sail boats a more sophisticated look and i loved the result. the whole thing cost me $40+3hrs of having fun and listening to music while i was 8 months pregnant with my son. have fun!!
