i'm writing this post because i have had several friends and family ask me why i'm planning on keeping elodie rear-facing in her car seat. my answer? until she's 35 lbs so at least 2. in sweden, parents keep their children rear facing until they are from 3 to 5 years old and have an extremely low mortality rate because of this. since she inherited her father's giraffe legs and height, we have already graduated her from her infant carseat to a britax. *sigh* she's growing too fast.
