a snowy holiday
we had the loveliest time visiting family in utah last week. my sister lives in striking distance of park city and we had fun staying with her. michael and i were able to steal away for two days (and one lovely night) of snowboarding, sitting by the fire, and taking walks in the quiet snow. just adults!
a much needed reset to get out of too sunny los angeles and into the tall stands of aspens that are so prevalent in that area of utah.
the last night all of our family came up to the condo we rented in park city and we had a big sleepover with a soak in the hot tub overlooking the snow and some mugs of cocoa and popcorn by the fire. we chose a place that had a room with two bunk beds and elodie and her littlest cousin chose the top bunks while the teenagers slept on the bottom. so fun!
